Winter has been quite cold and gloomy but often there are things to brighten the day - After days of seeing the cedar waxwings on walks, I finally took some decent photos of them when they descended the other day on the berry patch. A large flock of robins showed up as well.
I also spotted a hummingbird nest from last summer - I walk past this spot no less than twice a day- can't believe I am just now seeing it.
Spotted this sad little frozen mole in the meadow and it was gone when we came back out of the woods. I think the crows must have gotten it as they were following along.
I bought yellow tulips a few weeks ago and they cheered me up, bought pink ones this week. So looking forward to spring again.
