Here is a pretty photo I took on the 21st, Winter Solstice, the turning point at least for the days becoming longer.
We've been visited several times this month by a very small bobcat whose picture I captured several times when it was looking in the window at Oliver and I.
This one must be the offspring of the one I saw last year which was about 4 times the size. How lucky I was to get to see it so close!
A few nights ago we were visited by a great horned owl in a tree along the driveway and then later a grey fox went by and looked in Matte's studio windows. Still no fox photos, they are always so quick and come at dusk.
I only hope wherever you are, you know how much we all miss you.
